I am a mechanical engineer with  automotive design experience.   

My transition to aerospace engineering, particularly the design of electro-mechanical actuators for flight controls, has involved high power density motors, gear drives and cooling systems. These techniques are directly applicable to electric vehicles, resulting in the electric drive strut concept.
