How to prepare for the event:

  1. Dress smart: Advanced Engineering is a professional environment, so look the part.
  2. Pre-plan your sessions: Choose the sessions ahead of time to maximise your day. 
  3. Make a list: Note the Future Talent Connector stands you want to visit and prepare some questions ahead of time.  
  4. Get on LinkedIn: It is a great way to connect and share your experience from the event.

Tips and Tricks: approaching exhibitors

Approaching exhibitors can be nerve-wrecking 😬, but we’ve put together a few simple tips to help you feel confident!
 
How to approach exhibitors:
 
  1. Look out for the Future Talent Connectors icons: Only approach stands with this icons.
  2. Don’t come in groups: Some stands are small, and if you arrive in groups you may be covering some visibility for other visitors.  
  3. Think of the environment: Only take what you need from stands. Lets reduce waste and respect exhibitor’s resources. 
  4. Be respectful: Many exhibitors may be in business meetings. If they’re busy, don’t interrupt and approach them another time.

Advanced Engineering is an event created specifically for professionals within the Engineering and Manufacturing industry and is strictly for individuals 18 years of age or older.
Are you a student under the age of 18?
Unfortunately, we are unable to admit students or individuals under the age of 18.
Advanced Engineering contains advanced technical content, tools, and professional discussions intended solely for adults pursuing or working in engineering fields.
Please follow us on our social channels to keep up to date as we often post snippets of our live content there, and please do register for Advanced Engineering when you are eligible to attend.

Good News for Eligible Students
There is a tailored programme of sessions, exhibitor meetings, and networking events scheduled for Day 2 of the event. We welcome students aged 18 and over to attend Advanced Engineering on Day 2, 30th October 2025.

Over 16s who are in full time employment or part of an apprenticeship scheme, are more than welcome to register and attend the event.
