About us
The Aerospace Technology Institute is an independent not-for-profit organisation working in partnership with UK government and industry to enhance the competitiveness of the UK aerospace sector through technology leadership and funding.
Our vision is for the UK to double its share of the global aerospace market from $9 billion in 2025 to over $18 billion by 2035, creating high-value jobs across the UK and providing global leadership in decarbonisation.
To realise this, we provide direction through a challenging market-led technology strategy and invest in a dynamic portfolio of research and technology (R&T). In addition, we deliver expert insight, modelling, tools, resources and events to accelerate this technology development and maximise UK competitiveness.
