Epoxy Tooling Boards
We are a leading manufacturer of epoxy tooling boards globally, with a reputation for engineering high-performance, high-quality epoxy tooling materials. Our epoxy tooling boards are designed for use across a wide range of industries including aerospace, automotive, manufacturing, marine and motorsport.

Polyurethane Tooling Boards
We are a leading manufacturer of polyurethane tooling board materials, with a comprehensive range of design, styling, modelling and tooling boards. Our materials are engineered to meet the diverse demands of our customers, across a wide range of industries and applications from prototype models where a visual representation of a design is required, to lightweight film and theatre props to automotive modelling and many more.

Subsea Syntactic Buoyancy Materials
Designed with customers in mind, our Subtec® range of subsea buoyancy materials has been engineered for use in applications including remotely operated vehicles (ROV), autonomous underwater vehicles (AUV) and human-operated vehicles (HOV). From subsea intervention equipment to subsea defence platforms, military search and rescue vessels to oceanographic surveying, scientific research vehicles and more, we work collaboratively with customers, to deliver bespoke solutions that meet the specific demands of each application.

Buoyance Repair & Refurbishment Service
Not quite ready for a new set of buoyancy modules for your ROV yet? Looking for a way to revive old, damaged or worn buoyancy modules, giving them a second life? Our subsea buoyancy repair and refurbishment service is designed to provide you with an alternative solution as modules get worn and damaged, extending service life to ensure you get maximum usage. Modules undergo a full inspection including stripping back of any coatings in damaged areas to inspect the material core; a review of all metallic inserts to check for damage, breakage or corrosion; overall inspection of the modules checked against the original specifications including weight in air and weight in water calibrated testing; and a dimensional laser scan. We then produce an in-depth report showing the extent of necessary works and a full scope of works detailing the required actions to bring them back to operational standard. Modules are assessed depending on the level of damage/wear and recommendations are given for the specific repairs required for the system and the associated costs and timescales. Any modules that are deemed beyond repair are identified with details of any fundamental failures documented.

Mass Casting Service
Our mass casting service is designed with you in mind. An alternative to traditional modelling and tooling board materials and CNC machining, mass casting creates a single-piece, near-net-shape (NNS) tool with no visible bond or witness lines. Working with you, we can create simple or complex near-net-shape tooling, at our facility in Leicester, UK, ensuring your tool is as close to the final shape and size as possible. This reduces the amount of post-production machining and finishing required, saving you time and resources and resulting in less waste material. Using your CAD drawings and designs, first we create a bespoke negative mould for your tool using one of our industry-leading, low-density polyurethane materials. We then select the system for casting based on your application and requirements and use the negative mould to cast your near-net-shape tool. We have a range of materials available for mass casting applications and near-net-shape tooling, with densities ranging from 600 kg/m3 to 1,700 kg/m3.

Blocking Up Service
With decades of experience and an expert team, we can support you with building and blocking-up of your chosen tooling boards, saving you time and offering a fast turnaround. Once you have selected the right tooling board for your application, you simply send your CAD or blocking drawings to our special projects team, who can provide a quote for completing your blocking-up project. We work as an extension of your team, providing you with a blocked-up pattern ready for CNC machining or rough cutting. Our large platen press and blocking-up area can facilitate patterns up to 3 meters long and 1.3 meters wide.

Sustainable Materials
We create, we innovate, we solve problems. That’s why it’s important to us to continually look at ways to reduce our impact on the environment and promote a more circular economy. Working closely with our supply chain partners, we've ensured that where possible we use bio-based raw materials made from natural renewable sources within our existing material formulations. Same great products; improved environmental impact.
