Envisage provides comprehensive model making, prototyping, tooling, and fixture manufacturing capabilities, supporting projects from early concept and design development through to engineering validation, low-volume manufacture and production support. Our model-making expertise covers clay, foam, CNC-machined, and fully finished physical models, from scale and full-size to complex interior and exterior assemblies.
Alongside this, we design and manufacture a wide range of jigs and fixtures for development, assembly, machining, bonding and welding, including e-cubes, aperture gauges, closure and sealing development fixtures and lightweight carbon-fibre frameworks, through to full Body-in-White representation. Our in-house tooling capability encompasses precision, composite, concept, and prototype tooling, as well as hammerforms, RIM and vacuum-form tooling.
Our integrated CMF, Paint, Trim and Electronics capabilities enable us to take a concept from initial creative direction through to a fully realised, finished product, all under one roof. Our CMF team works across colour, materials and finish, combining trend research, material sourcing and development with a comprehensive materials library to create distinctive, sustainable and production-ready solutions.
Working closely with our Paint Technology team, we develop bespoke colours, finishes and textures, including colour matching, two-tone and graduated finishes, textured paint, spray chrome and special effects for everything from design properties and clay models to prototypes and show vehicles.
Our in-house Trim Studio provides complete soft-trim and interior development, including foam development, pattern making, stitching, quilting, fluting, perforation, piping, embroidery and the use of leather, Alcantara, textiles and sustainable materials.
Complementing this, our Electronics team delivers bespoke electrical and electronic solutions including PCB design and fabrication, interior and exterior lighting, LED, OLED and conventional lighting integration, RGBW and addressable systems, lighting animations, reactive and projection lighting, EV systems, HMI and UX development, pre-production testing and bespoke automation allowing us to bring the final product to life with both visual and functional integration.
