About us
FKgroup builds automatic cutting solutions for composite materials and technical textiles. Carbon fibre, glass fibre, prepregs and dry fabrics are unforgiving to process, and the accuracy of the cut determines the quality of everything that happens downstream. FKgroup answers those technical demands with patented, high-technology solutions, with systems in production at automotive, aerospace and marine manufacturers. In those sectors, material cost and part tolerance leave no room for approximation.
That capability comes from six decades spent on a single discipline. Since 1961, FKgroup has done one thing: analyse, design and automate the cutting room. Automatic spreading and cutting systems, advanced CAD software, and vision systems that bring augmented reality onto the production floor add up to more than 10,000 installations worldwide, in some of the most demanding manufacturing operations in Italy and abroad. Composites raised the requirements FKgroup was already built to meet.
FKgroup does not simply supply equipment. The company works as a technology partner, helping each customer identify the configuration that fits their production, and backs every installation with after-sales service built to keep those systems running.
