LEUCO PCD "UniType" cutters
The LEUCO UniType combines upward and downward-pulling PCD cutting edges in one tool. Each cutting edge has a different face shear, allowing the tool to mill through the material smoothly and without vibration. The cutting edges are equipped with chip breakers [1], which reduce the cutting forces during milling. This ensures smooth milling and increases the edge life of the tool. Large gullets [2] allow the operator to reach high feed rates in order to achieve an economical milling process. The applications: The LEUCO UniType was designed as an all-rounder. Almost all cutting applications from grooves to dividing cuts can be realized. With the inno-vative cutting design, even complex 3D milling contours can be implemen-ted easily and without vibration. This applies equally to thick and thin composite parts.

LEUCO "Solid-DP Drill 130/60" – Next-Generation Diamond Drilling Technology for Advanced Materials
The Solid-DP Drill 130/60 is an innovative drilling solution designed to meet the growing demands of modern manufacturing environments. Suitable for use on CNC machining centers and gantry machines, the tool offers exceptional versatility across a wide range of challenging materials, including fiber-reinforced plastics (FRP), aluminum, multi-material stacks, ceramic matrix composites (CMC), and technical ceramics. At the core of the innovation is a solid, continuous diamond-polycrystalline (DP) cutting edge combined with a specially developed faceted tip geometry. Unlike conventional DP drilling tools that are limited by segmented cutting edge designs, the Solid-DP Drill 130/60 enables significantly greater geometric freedom. This allows the cutting geometry to be optimized for superior drilling performance, improved hole quality, and enhanced process reliability. The drill’s robust design makes it highly resistant to vibrations and process disturbances, ensuring stable operation even under demanding machining conditions. Furthermore, the tool can be resharpened multiple times, typically achieving two to four resharpening cycles while maintaining high performance levels. This considerably extends tool life and contributes to a low total cost per bore. By combining advanced diamond cutting technology, outstanding versatility, process stability, and cost efficiency, the Solid-DP Drill 130/60 sets a new benchmark for drilling advanced composite and lightweight materials.

DP Countersinking Solutions for Aerospace Applications, standard with integrated/exchangeable pilot or upon customer request
The DP Countersink product family is designed for high-precision post-countersinking of pre-drilled holes in aerospace manufacturing. Developed for use in hand-held machining units with stop holders, these tools deliver consistently high-quality countersinks for riveted joints in composite and lightweight metal structures. Suitable for CFRP, GFRP, aluminium, titanium stacks and other advanced aerospace materials, the tools produce chatter-free and delamination-free countersinks, ensuring excellent surface quality and reliable joint performance. DP-tipped cutting edges provide exceptional wear resistance and long tool life, supporting cost-efficient machining even in demanding production environments. Available with two or three cutting edges, the tools can be tailored to specific applications and material combinations. Fixed-pilot versions offer maximum process stability and machining accuracy through precise guidance matched to the bore diameter, while interchangeable-pilot variants provide greater flexibility by enabling multiple hole diameters to be machined with a single tool body. The combination of superior cutting performance, extended service life and application-specific configurations makes these countersinking solutions a reliable choice for aerospace drilling and riveting processes.
