MCT Brattberg UK supplies modular multi cable and pipe transit systems that protect people, equipment and critical infrastructure. Originally patented in the early 1950s, the MCT Brattberg system brings decades of engineering heritage to the sealing of cable and pipe penetrations.
Where cables and pipes pass through walls, floors, decks and bulkheads, these openings must be sealed to maintain the integrity of the protective barrier. Our systems are designed to provide protection against fire, smoke, gas and water ingress in demanding industrial environments.
The modular system combines transit frames, sealing blocks and compression components to accommodate multiple cables and pipes within a single opening. The product range includes rectangular and circular transits, solutions for marine and offshore applications, and specialist systems for hazardous areas, high-pressure applications and electromagnetic protection.
Our high-pressure range includes LSJ longitudinal sealing cable joints and PHP pressure hull penetrators, designed to prevent water or gas travelling through damaged cables into protected compartments. These are complemented by RGPM bespoke pressure seals for multiple cables and pipes, and RGPH modular high-pressure transits for demanding submarine and offshore applications. Together, these solutions address both sealing around cables and pipes and preventing pressure transmission through the cables themselves.
