Satron SAVE Sampling

SAVE has been designed for controlled and safe sampling of pulp slurry. SAVE’s head is shaped and dimensioned to ensure a representative sample. SAVE has been designed for controlled and safe sampling of pulp slurry. SAVE’s head is shaped and dimensioned to ensure a representative sample. The sampler head is inserted deep into the process pipe, past the water layer flowing along the pipe wall. SAVE’s interior parts can be flushed with water after the sample has been taken, to prevent build up or blockage of sampler. Since the sampling valve’s shut-off mechanism is at the head of the sampler, SAVE will not get blocked even during long duty intervals. SAVE’s piston utilizes metal-to-metal sealing and does not include any wearing parts, such as rubber seals.

SATRON PASVE® Cs Consistency Transmitter Mounting & Service Valve

PASVE® Cs is a ball-type mounting and service valve for the Satron VCT optical consistency transmitter offering numerous advantages over standard insertion type devices. Its special ball valve construction allows the safe and easy insertion and removal of the transmitter without interrupting the process. Developed from over 30 years of experience with the proven PASVE® design for process sensors like pH, pressure and conductivity, PASVE® Cs greatly improves worker safety with installations in high pressure pipe lines.

Satron VC Consistency Optical Sensor

SATRON VC is a product family for measuring the consistency and other variables like ash content and brightness in pulp & paper processes. It is suitable for all pulps consisting of a single grade, in consistency range of 0…12%Cs located within the mechanical and chemical pulp process in applications as latency removal, screening, low consistency refining, screening, washing, refining and drying machine applications. All Satron VC products can provide accurate and reliable measurement without need for regular maintenance and equipped with a retraction mechanism. SATRON VCT is an optical total consistency transmitter. It is suitable for all pulps, in a consistency range of 0…12%Cs in applications located in the mechanical pulp processes (SWG, TMP, PWG and CTMP) as well as in wide range of other paper machine and pulp mill applications. SATRON VCA is a multichannel optical transmitter. It is suitable for total & filler (ash %) consistency measurements in the majority of the pulp & paper applications. SATRON VCB is a multichannel optical Brightness transmitter, suitable for Brightness measurement in the majority of the chemical and mechanical pulp, recycled and paper machine applications. SATRON VCK is a multichannel optical transmitter, suitable for total content measurement (fibre and filtrate) in majority of the Bleach plant applications.

Satron SAVE H

Satron SAVE H is a pneumatically actuated sampling valve designed for high-consistency wood pulps and/or pulp containing shives and knots. The sampler is suitable for all pulp sampling applications in the pulp and paper industry.

Satron VOD Optical Sensor

The Satron VOD optical sensor works according the absorption principle with the use of LED technology. The Hygienic approved sensor emits 365, 540, 640 or 880nm LED light. And the measured absorption is in direct correlation with the clearness of the process. This makes the Satron VOD ideal for measuring in example the outlet of Reverse Osmosis, Condensate retrieval or Ultra Filtration processes.

Satron VOF Optical Sensor

The Satron VOF sensor works according the absorption principle with the use of LED technology. This sensor is removable from the process with the use of a 1” ball valve for easy relocation or maintenance. This makes the SATRON VOF sensor ideal for waste outlets, effluent monitoring and color monitoring.

Satron VOM Optical Sensor

The Satron VOM optical sensor works according the backscattering principle with the use of LED technology. The Hygienic approved sensor receive the scattered light back from the process media. This makes the Satron VO ideal for measuring white water applications in the dairy industry. In example, measuring during the start and the end of CIP cycles will give real-time information on the amount of milk and water currently in the process. This will prevent wasting valuable amounts of water, milk, time, chemicals and of course energy. All with the use of 1 sensor.

Satron VOA Optical Sensor

The SATRON VOA dual wavelength optical sensor is suitable for the measurement of different liquids. Savings can be obtained by using SATRON VOA sensor in process industries, e.g. the use of clean water can be minimized, the time used for the cleaning (CIP) will be shortened, the use of the end product (in dairy applications: milk) and the use of cleaning materials needed in the process can be optimized. The transmitter communicates digitally using the HART® protocol.

VL Pressure Transmitter Satron

For clean, sedimenting, crystallizing and sticking materials. measuring range: 0…+15 MPa SATRON VL is used for 0-1,4 kPa…0-15 MPa ranges. The transmitter communicates in a 2-wire system. In pressure measuring applications SATRON VL transmitters are used for measuring the pressure of clean, sedimenting, crystallizing and sticking materials. The transmitter’s sensor is piezoresistive. The rangeability is 25:1. The transmitter communicates digitally using the HART® protocol. The versatile selection of diaphragm materials will meet the needs in most processes. Also the models with special accuracy are included to the series of VL transmitters. Measuring Range: 0…+15 MPa Adjustability: 0-1,4 kPa…0-15 MPa Applicability: Clean, sedimenting, crystallizing and sticking materials

Satron PASVE® Mounting and Service Valve

PASVE® is a ball-type mounting & service valve for Satron VG type level and pressure transmitters, VO optical sensors and other equipment with G1 process connection. To connect Satron VL or VDtL transmitter, please see PASVE® BA. PASVE® was designed to promote workers’ safety and makes it simple and safe to disconnect the transmitter from the process for maintenance and cleaning, without stopping the process or draining the tank. PASVE® is available in a manually operated type or equipped with a pneumatic actuator.

VG Pressure Transmitters - Satron

Satron VG is part of the V transmitter series with both analogue and smart properties. In pressure measurements the VG can be used for measuring the pressure of clean, sedimenting, crystallizing and sticking materials. Satron VG is used for 0-1.4 kPa…0-25 MPa ranges. The transmitter communicates in a 2-wire system. The transmitter’s sensor is piezoresistive. The rangeability is 25:1. The transmitter communicates digitally using the HART® protocol. Satron VG transmitter is suitable to use with PASVE® mounting valve. Measuring Range: -0,1…+25 MPa Adjustability: 0-1,4 kPa…0-25 MPa Applicability: Clean, sedimenting, crystallizing and sticking materials
