About us

Ultra-thin, passive MicroWire sensors for contactless sensing in harsh environments where conventional sensors fail.

RVmagnetics develops and manufactures custom sensing solutions based on MicroWire® technology: ultra-thin, passive magnetic sensors for contactless measurement in demanding engineering environments.

With diameters of approximately 20–70 µm, MicroWire sensors can be embedded within materials and components to monitor temperature, strain, pressure, vibration, torque, position and magnetic fields. The sensing element requires no battery or wired electrical connection; measurements are captured by an external sensing system.

We help manufacturers, engineering teams and R&D specialists access data from locations where conventional sensors are difficult to integrate. Applications include structural health monitoring of composites, monitoring rotating motor components, verifying composite curing processes and developing smart components for aerospace, defence, space, automotive and industrial equipment.

Our services cover the development journey:
• Technical consultation and application feasibility assessment.
• Industrial and defence demonstration kits for hands-on evaluation.
• Custom proof-of-concept development and application-specific testing.
• Functional prototypes, including sensing electronics, software and mechanical integration.
• MicroWire production tailored to agreed specifications and volumes.

Each project starts with the customer's measurement requirements, materials, operating conditions and integration constraints. We adapt the sensor and readout system to the application, helping teams evaluate performance and progress towards implementation.

At the exhibition, meet our team to explore embedded sensing, condition monitoring and practical ways to turn your components into sources of engineering data. Whether you are investigating a sensing challenge or developing a validated concept, we can help define the next step.
