About us
The WRA product line is trusted worldwide and built on the expertise of Wessex Resins & Adhesives which has been formulating and manufacturing high performance epoxy systems since 1981.
We developed our underwater adhesives in partnership with the Ministry of Defence and the Department of Energy and Climate Change (DECC). Our underwater epoxies have since become valuable engineering tools for the marine industry, dock, harbour boards and the offshore oil industry.
Our underwater epoxy resin compositions can cure above or underwater at very low temperatures and provide excellent, long-lasting adhesion in adverse conditions. They are also very tolerant of contamination, although as with most epoxies, best results are obtained on pre-prepared surfaces.
In emergency situations where there is not time for full surface preparation, our epoxies will provide a strong, temporary bond.
Our range of readily available epoxy products provides high-quality, proven solutions for a huge number of specialist naval and subsea underwater applications.

PRO-SET Epoxy Products
PRO-SET® composite products include a specialist range of epoxy systems from infusion epoxies and wet lay-up systems to adhesives, accessories and fairing compounds. PRO-SET products are used for building high-performance, lightweight composite structures that can withstand the harshest environments. From automotive parts to wind turbine blades to hi-tech hulls, PRO-SET epoxy can enhance the strength and durability of practically any composite component. Designed for use in wet lay-up procedures involving woven and multi-axial glass, aramid, carbon-fibre and hybrid fabrics, our PRO-SET resin-hardener combinations have been formulated specifically for laminating, infusion, tooling and assembly. As part of our commitment to continuous improvement, the range has recently been reformulated and expanded to better meet the demands of modern composite manufacturing. All the new formulations offer improved handling characteristics with excellent cure profiles and are designed to enable companies to rapidly fulfill orders very competitively. If these standard formulations do not match your precise requirements we are able, as part of the Wessex Resins & Adhesives Group, to work with you to create custom epoxy systems which exactly meet your requirements. Turnaround times are fast and more significantly, we are able to provide customised PRO-SET formulations in relatively small volumes.
