Materials & Manufacturing Technologies Features LeTugrance on Multifunctional Cabin Composites

Ahead of Advanced Engineering 2026 (NEC Birmingham, 4–5 November), leading industry publication Materials & Manufacturing Technologies (M&MT) has featured LeTugrance in its official exhibition preview issue (pages 46–47).

In the technical feature, titled «Thermal Mass Architecture: Rethinking Cabin Interiors Through Multifunctional Mineral Composites», founder and material architect Liudmila Tuchkova explores how next-generation bio-mineral composites are solving the critical trade-offs of modern aerospace and transport cabins:

Eliminating Parasitic Weight: Replacing heavy secondary damping layers and insulation blankets through an integrated constrained layer damping (CLD) architecture.

Active-Passive Thermal Management: Harnessing the natural thermal inertia of an ambient-cured mineral matrix combined with low-voltage surface heating to eliminate in-flight condensation («cabin rain») with an ultra-low energy duty cycle.

Aerospace-Grade Fire Safety: Demonstrating intrinsic non-combustibility and passing strict CS/FAR 25.853 vertical flammability standards with 0.0s after-flame and zero flaming droplets.

Circularity & Clean Air: Providing a zero-VOC mineral face to protect cabin air quality, engineered for closed-loop mechanical recycling without toxic chemical breakdown.

The full editorial feature is available to read in the digital edition of M&MT: Read the article on Calaméo (Pages 46–47).

Visitors can meet the LeTugrance team and inspect the fire-tested demonstrator coupons featured in the article at Stand G155e and inside the Innovations Gallery.
