MIRA Technology Institute partners win award for exceptional collaboration

MIRA Technology Institute (MTI) has won the Collaboration of the Year category at the Insider Made in the Midlands Awards 2026, recognising its pioneering partnership between industry and education.

The award recognises how two of MTI’s education partners, NWSLC and Coventry University have worked collectively with industry partner JLR on a joint initiative, “Powering the Future: A Collaborative Electrification Skills Initiative.”

Together, the partners have co-designed a two-stage electrification training pathway, spanning fundamental and intermediate levels delivered at MTI.
