Ross-on-Wye Enterprise Park open for business as major development takes shape
Herefordshire Council is marking a major milestone in the delivery of a significant new employment site which is set to drive economic growth and create up to 600 jobs.
Ross-on-Wye Enterprise Park is a flagship 17-acre development which will become one of Herefordshire’s largest business hubs, providing high-quality office and industrial space to attract new investment into the county.
The Enterprise Park benefits from excellent connectivity, with direct access to the A40 and strong links to the M50, A449, A49 and the wider M4 corridor, supporting access to markets across Wales, the South West, West Midlands and the wider UK.
Phase One of the development will deliver four one-acre, development-ready plots, providing between 77,000 and 100,000 sq ft of employment space. Backed by a £7.25 million investment from the Council, work is now underway to provide the infrastructure to individual plots on the site.
Infrastructure works will include access roads, utilities, drainage and estate roads, enabling businesses to develop bespoke facilities and begin moving in from late 2027.
Herefordshire Council’s Cabinet Member for Economy and Growth, Cllr Graham Biggs, said: “This major development will boost the local economy and create more better paid jobs. Providing the right conditions is essential to developing our key growth sectors, attracting inward investment, and retaining local talent. Alongside our drive to improve skills, we’ve invested to deliver the facilities for businesses in Herefordshire to support markets across the region and UK-wide.”
