Zünd to showcase smart automation solutions at Advanced Engineering 2026
Zünd will return to Advanced Engineering 2026 to demonstrate how automation, material handling and workflow optimisation can help manufacturers improve productivity and quality.
Visitors to Stand V130 will see the versatile Zünd G3 L-2500 digital cutting system processing pre-preg carbon fibre and ROHACELL® structural foam, supported by Zünd PreCut Center (ZPC) software and the latest complimentary automation innovations, including the new Automatic Conveyor Belt Cleaner and RollMaster roll handling system.
As manufacturers continue to focus on reducing downtime and increasing operational efficiency, Zünd's new Automatic Conveyor Belt Cleaner provides a simple but highly effective solution. The air-powered, contact-free system continuously removes loose fibres, dust and cutting residues from the conveyor belt during operation, ensuring a consistently clean cutting environment without interrupting production. By eliminating manual cleaning, preventing contamination of cut parts and requiring minimal maintenance, the Belt Cleaner helps improve both productivity and process reliability.
Also on display will be the RollMaster, Zünd's advanced material handling solution for rolled materials. Designed to process heavy and large-format rolls safely and efficiently, RollMaster ensures stable material feeding and precise material guidance throughout the cutting process. The system minimises wrinkles, misalignment and tension fluctuations while supporting consistent, repeatable cutting performance across a wide range of materials.
Gaj Jeevanandan, Marketing Manager at Zund UK, commented: "Manufacturers are looking for automation solutions that deliver measurable improvements in productivity and quality. Our Belt Cleaner and RollMaster demonstrate how optimised material handling and automated process support can reduce waste, improve efficiency and create more reliable production workflows."
With over 40 years of experience supporting industries including aerospace, defence, motorsport, marine and renewable energy, Zünd continues to develop innovative solutions that help manufacturers maximise the value of their composite cutting operations.
