Cookson Industrial manufactures high-purity precious metal powders and nanoparticles, with vertically integrated capabilities from alloy melting and atomisation through to testing and certification. Using gas and ultrasonic atomisation, we produce clean, highly spherical powders with excellent purity, flowability and consistency, available in gold, silver, platinum and bespoke precious metal alloys.

Our powders can be tailored to specific particle size distributions (PSDs), compositions and batch requirements, supporting applications including additive manufacturing (AM), powder pressing, Hot Isostatic Pressing (HIP), research and development, catalysis, electronics, semiconductors, medical and dental applications, and luxury manufacturing.

We can also support precious metal powder requirements for specialist manufacturing routes and the production of components and coin blanks, drawing on extensive precious metal and metallurgical expertise across the wider group to develop the right material, particle characteristics and manufacturing route for each application.
