The MetraSCAN 3D family has been developed to deliver fast, accurate and reliable 3D measurement in real manufacturing environments. Combining a handheld scanner with the C-Track optical tracking system, MetraSCAN enables manufacturers to inspect parts directly on the shop floor without compromising metrology-grade accuracy.

Unlike traditional measurement systems, MetraSCAN is insensitive to vibration, temperature changes and part movement, allowing quality teams to inspect everything from precision-machined components to large assemblies where they are produced. The result is faster decision-making, reduced downtime and greater confidence in every measurement.

For even greater flexibility, the MetraSCAN 3D family can also be integrated with the HandyPROBE for complete tactile and non-contact inspection within a single workflow. With the introduction of the new MetraSCAN BLACK2, users also benefit from enhanced inspection flexibility through stand-alone scanning, intelligent setup assistance and expanded measurement capabilities.
