With SPREDLOC® and the RIVNUT® Automation E, Boellhoff presents two perfectly matched solutions for modern lightweight design and production requirements.

SPREDLOC® extends the Boellhoff portfolio with a threaded stud developed specifically for use in high-quality lightweight structures. This expansion stud creates wear-free and load-bearing threads and is suitable for a wide range of lightweight materials – including various polymers, aluminium and magnesium. The new joining solution is therefore of particular interest for structural components across various industrial sectors, such as the automotive and commercial vehicle industries.

True to the 360° Joining Technology approach, Boellhoff also pursues a consistent system approach with SPREDLOC®: upon request, customers receive the appropriate setting tool directly alongside the fastener. The elements are installed using proven RIVNUT® setting tools – from manual setting tools through to fully automated systems.
