The uvex xact-fit test system provides a simple, reliable and efficient way to verify the effectiveness of hearing protection in the workplace. Designed to help organisations assess how well earplugs fit individual users, the system enables safety professionals to measure real-world protection levels and ensure workers receive the attenuation required for their specific environment.

Using the recognised Real Ear Attenuation at Threshold (REAT) method, the system measures a user's hearing threshold both with and without hearing protection in place. This process determines the Personal Attenuation Rating (PAR), providing a clear indication of the level of protection achieved by each wearer and helping to identify whether hearing protection has been fitted correctly.

The lightweight, portable solution includes Bluetooth® headphones and a tablet, creating a completely wireless setup that can be used virtually anywhere with an internet connection.
