uvex HexArmor Helix 3014IMP: impact protection without the bulk
Changing perceptions about back of hand impact gloves being too bulky and inflexible
uvex has introduced the HexArmor® Helix® 3014IMP, an impact-resistant glove combining cut level F protection, high dexterity and advanced back-of-hand protection in a lightweight 18-gauge design.
Traditional impact gloves can feel bulky and restrictive, particularly for engineering tasks requiring precision. The Helix 3014IMP has been engineered to overcome this, providing robust protection while retaining the flexibility and tactile feel needed for handling components, tools, machinery and assembly work.
At its core is HexArmor’s patented i2™ impact protection system. Individually articulated hexagonal guards flex naturally with the hand while providing coverage across the knuckles and fingers. The low-profile design is 30% lower and 44% lighter than comparable impact models, while maintaining equivalent impact resistance.
Engineered for performance:
Cut level F protection with an ultra-fine 18-gauge liner for dexterity
Advanced HPPE, stainless steel and recycled nylon yarn construction
Sandy nitrile coating for grip in dry, wet and oily conditions
Touchscreen compatible for easier transitions between tasks
Elastic stretch liner for a close, adaptive fit
Reinforced thumb crotch to improve durability in a high-wear area
15% recycled nylon per pair
Hi-vis design to improve visibility
Ideal for machinery operation and maintenance, assembly, handling sharp-edged parts and tools, and positioning heavy components.
By combining impact protection, cut resistance, secure grip and precision handling, the Helix 3014IMP provides engineers with protection suited to demanding industrial tasks, without the weight and restriction traditionally associated with impact gloves.
