      PRO-SET Epoxy Products

PRO-SET® composite products include a specialist range of epoxy systems from infusion epoxies and wet lay-up systems to adhesives, accessories and fairing compounds. PRO-SET products are used for building high-performance, lightweight composite structures that can withstand the harshest environments. From automotive parts to wind turbine blades to hi-tech hulls, PRO-SET epoxy can enhance the strength and durability of practically any composite component. Designed for use in wet lay-up procedures involving woven and multi-axial glass, aramid, carbon-fibre and hybrid fabrics, our PRO-SET resin-hardener combinations have been formulated specifically for laminating, infusion, tooling and assembly. As part of our commitment to continuous improvement, the range has recently been reformulated and expanded to better meet the demands of modern composite manufacturing. All the new formulations offer improved handling characteristics with excellent cure profiles and are designed to enable companies to rapidly fulfill orders very competitively. If these standard formulations do not match your precise requirements we are able, as part of the Wessex Resins & Adhesives Group, to work with you to create custom epoxy systems which exactly meet your requirements. Turnaround times are fast and more significantly, we are able to provide customised PRO-SET formulations in relatively small volumes.

    2. Product Development

      Product Development

product development is where innovation meets experience. From the earliest concept stage, we work closely with clients to transform ideas into manufacturable, high-performance GRP solutions. Whether starting with a sketch, a CAD model, or simply a vision, our team brings over 45 years of composite expertise to guide every step of the journey. We begin by understanding your requirements in detail—function, form, environment, and end-use—before translating them into practical designs. Our in-house capabilities include CAD development, material selection, and feasibility analysis, ensuring that each concept is engineered for both performance and production. Using tools like 3D scanning and digital modelling, we validate designs early and reduce development cycles. Once a concept is approved, we move seamlessly into pattern making, tooling, and full-scale manufacture—all under one roof. This integrated approach ensures consistency, accountability, and a faster route to market. Whether you're developing a new product or refining an existing one, MPM Group offers the insight, technology, and craftsmanship to bring your concept to life—efficiently, accurately, and with confidence.

    3. Product Technology Online Training

      Product Technology Online Training

In response to a demand from industry, ISO 9712:2022, the standard to which the PCN Scheme operates with respect to NDT certification, now requires that all candidates demonstrate a prior understanding of materials and processes, also known as 'product technology', before undertaking training in any method in order to supplement their knowledge of the specific methods and techniques to which they are seeking certification. To meet this requirement, BINDT has developed a new interactive online Product Technology training course to help PCN candidates achieve the required knowledge in a convenient way and at a time and pace that suits them. The course is now available worldwide. The online training course includes learning modules covering industrial materials, manufacturing processes and an introduction to non-destructive testing (NDT), with material presented in a clear and concise format through a range of videos, high-resolution images and graphs. Course content is organised in a logical manner, starting with how metals are created, through the processing of the raw materials to form components and the NDT methods and applications used to inspect them.
