Fitfactory’s Smart Machine Monitoring is an IoT-enabled MES module that delivers real-time insights into machine performance and energy consumption with rapid, non-intrusive deployment. Using a plug-and-play current meter sensor that installs in under a minute via a simple CT clamp, the system wirelessly and securely transmits machine power data to the Fitfactory Cloud for immediate analysis.

Within minutes, manufacturers gain access to live data on machine status—running or stopped—enabling instant interventions and improved uptime. The platform presents energy consumption in two-minute intervals and visualises output across four-hour windows, delivering daily OEE metrics and weekly performance breakdowns via pie charts that categorize time spent in Active, Idle, or Off states.

Beyond real-time visibility, the solution supports predictive maintenance through historical data analysis and instant alerts with reason-coded downtime notifications, helping prevent unplanned stoppages and reduce costly idle time. Energy cost insights include the ability to calculate operational costs using variable energy rates and uncover energy-saving opportunities during idle periods.

As part of Fitfactory’s MES suite, this module integrates seamlessly with other components—such as Production Scheduler and Shop Floor Data Capture—and pairs with existing ERP or MRP systems via open APIs to create a unified digital ecosystem.
