Airline efficiency could cut emissions by 50–75 per cent
Operating only the most fuel-efficient aircraft, removing premium-class seating to carry more passengers, and raising passenger loads could reduce global aviation emissions by 50-75 per cent.
SCU Motorsport are developing a brand-new motorsport education programme with green technology at its heart – supporting the drive for zero emissions motorsport. The programme will be made up of a bespoke qualification based on the needs of the motorsport sector and embedded into new, more engaging and inclusive, learning and assessment methodologies utilising both Augmented and Virtual Reality techniques.
This will be complemented by a purpose-built single seater race car available with a range of green-tech drivetrains, allowing colleges to practice skills and build experience, and universities to undertake research and develop new green technology concepts. They will then race against each other in a competitive environment on leading racetracks.
