Running a slick Machining practice producing high quality Hard Metal machining services is expanding their capabilities and presenting an increasing and varied orders from clients – batch sizes are between 5 – 50
The ability to machine tough materials would be highly advantageous,
The challenging stuff is multi axis mill/turn and 5 axis, you would be expected to set/run and the capability to produce prototype/first offs
WORKING a double Day-shift 6-2 & 2-10
37.5 hours (4.5 day W/Wk)

Qualifications & Experience

Engineering qualification, degree, HND in a relevant subject/discipline
Experience of training, developing, or mentoring of junior colleagues within composites manufacturing.
Experienced in working with and aiding in the development of tooling Composites and composite manufacturing processes.
Experience in a commercial environment, producing quotations, and negotiating with clients.
Knowledge of lean and constant manufacturing principles and tools.
Stakeholder, Customers Relationship Management, and Management skills
PC Proficient, Good MS Word, Excel and Power Point skills and CAD knowledge are an advantage, not essential

£28,000 – £35,000 a year based on experience.

We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Graduate Engineer with a background in Structural and/or Mechanical Engineering to join our engineering consultancy company. The successful candidate will be responsible for contributing to the development of products and structures for the civil and energy markets, by providing technical expertise and innovative solutions to complex engineering problems. An exciting opportunity for a Test Support Engineer has arisen in Testia Ltd Filton. You will work
within the Testia customer structures test centre based in Bristol, UK.

The Job holder puts together all constituent elements of the Test Setup (specimen, rig, loading
devices, and Data Acquisition); is proficient in the operation of workshop equipment (inc. Lathes,
Milling Machines, Pillar Drills etc.), including ability to perform welding in various materials and ensure
efficient test performance.
