The successful candidate will work with members of the Finance Team to build on their previous experience to cover a variety of tasks including monthly internal and external financial reporting and analysis.

– Support Instron UK month end close tasks including creating of journal entries, balance sheet reconciliations
– Manage departmental cost centre analysis, query resolution and forecast updates
– Responsible for UK VAT return, Intrastat reporting & annual tax pack preparation
– Responsible for intercompany recharges, monthly reconciliations and foreign exchange updates
– Support management and approval of employee expense claims and purchasing card submissions
– Run monthly reports and provide analysis for inventory and product costing
– Support monthly margin analysis and business partnering
– Own quarterly bonus accrual entries, support senior management review and actual vs accrual variance analysis
– Support annual planning process

– Alignment and testing of assembled parts

– Testing & fault finding when required

– Participating in the training of other members of staff when required
