Cut-out switch
As part of The Otter Group we manufacture thermal cut-out switches for Otter Controls. The H1 series is a rapid response thermal safety cut-out suitable for rapid heating or air sensing applications. The H1 series is available in either auto reset or electrical reset options and is rated up to 16A at 250V. It can be provided in various terminal options and with a protective cover and meets worldwide approvals.

Dahltram®
Airtech manufactures fibre reinforced polymer composite resins for large-scale additive manufacturing pellet-fed FDM printing systems. Dahltram® resins have been specifically developed with the manufacture of tooling for composite manufacturing in mind. Dahltram® thermoplastic resins are uniquely suitable for multiple print platforms and offer production flexibility with end-use material approvals. They have been approved for application on all Thermwood LSAM 3D printers, Titan Robotics Atlas printers and CEAD AM Flexbot platforms. Using Dahltram® resins on large scale additive manufacturing can deliver • Rapid tooling delivery for prototyping and rate manufacturing programmes. • High accuracy, complex, high quality tooling solutions. • High temperature and pressure capability for tooling suitable for autoclave use. • Proven long service life and low CTE tooling. Airtech has been extruding and compounding resins for nearly 50 years. Additive manufacturing has enabled us to expand our resin offerings not only to our printers, but also to develop unique resins and purges for those with their own machines. Airtech Dahltram® resins and Print-Tech® in-house 3D printing services have been used by BBi Autosport to build carbon composite body panels for its high-performance racing vehicles, winning them first, first and third in class! Motorsport programs require rapid development cycles, and with Print-Tech®, these moulds can be produced faster than ever before. Dalton Cumbrian Facility
The Dalton Cumbrian Facility (DCF) is an established centre of radiation science and host to the Royce Irradiation Environments Technology Platform. The facility allows the research community to study and grow understanding of the complex interactions between ionising radiation and materials or processes. To enable this research, DCF houses large-scale sources of ionising radiation and a range of material modification, characterisation, and analytical equipment. The facility has a dedicated on-site team of research-active experimentalists to help the community to design, develop and deliver experiments to a high standard and to interpret data and outcomes. As well as being part of the Henry Royce Institute, DCF is a partner in the EPSRC UK National Ion Beam Centre and the National Nuclear User Facility. Purpose – Our purpose is to foster and support the understanding of radiation-driven processes and the responsible use of radiation. Vision – Our vision, as a leading hub for the UK radiation science community, is to support innovation in applications of radiation science and engineering. We perform cutting-edge research and skills development, engaging directly with our users, supporting an ever-growing community through modelling, planning and execution of experiments involving ionising radiations. Through the Henry Royce Institute, DCF offers facilities able to support all the research areas where there is an interest in behaviour of materials in radiation environments. This is particularly of relevance to 2D materials, advanced materials processing, biomedical materials, materials systems for demanding environments, and nuclear materials.

Data Acquisition Systems
Data acquisition is the process of sampling signals measuring real world physical parameters and storing the signals as digital numeric values that can be viewed and analysed on a computer. Data acquisition systems are often abbreviated as DAQ. Data acquisition systems consist of sensors, signal conditioning circuitry including filters and isolation, analogue to digital converters and data storage, and may also include visual displays. DC 11-Module
The DC 11-Module is a complete central unit for source extraction and industrial cleaning. The unit can manage just about every kind of dust and chip you can imagine and, when properly equipped, your coolants and emulsions too. With the DC 11-Module, we deliver a complete central unit from the factory, plug and play – easy to install. We tailor it exactly to your specific needs. This is possible due to an options based selection process. The DC 11-Module has been designed to produce more capacity and service up to six normal extraction points or several cleaning outlets at a time. The design of a source extraction system is always based on the specific need at each work place. It is then possible to design and install a central unit for several, or many, extraction points. Alternatively, maybe a stand-alone unit for a particular area is the best choice. The advantage with stand-alone solutions is that you attain cleaner production one step at a time – as production requires it and as budget allows it. The DC 11-Module becomes part of the work cell or production machine and can be part of the flexibility of modern lean manufacturing and fast change-overs from part to part. The DC 11-Module is developed to fulfil the demands of a local solution.
