      AeroDNA – Aerospace Production Control

AeroDNA is a premium production control solution specifically designed for aerospace manufacturing subcontractors, built to meet AS9100 accreditation requirements and SC21 best practices. It offers the flexibility to be configured to the unique needs—or “DNA”—of diverse engineering firms, including CNC machinists, laser cutters, and fabricators. The platform is a fully integrated system that streamlines all essential business processes from quotation through to invoicing, ensuring consistency and efficiency across the entire workflow. Planning and control adapt to your needs, ranging from simple manual planning boards to advanced, automated finite capacity planning tools. Advanced business reporting comes equipped with a library of best-practice reports, plus the ability for team members to create highly customisable reports tailored to their roles or needs. Shop-floor data capture is supported through intuitive user interfaces, enabling tracking of job progress, control over batch splitting, and visibility over internal non-conformances. AeroDNA enhances supply chain performance with automated supplier order book reports and performance dashboards that monitor order status, quality, and delivery metrics. It also helps to improve delivery by giving you tools to proactively manage customer order books, maintain up-to-date requirement dates, and track change history. Quality control is strengthened with full traceability and performance monitoring that lets you quickly surface areas needing investigation. The solution supports profitability through integrated job costing, delivering accurate insights into operating margins and true product costs. It also maximises resource utilisation by enabling priority resource loading and identifying capacity bottlenecks before they impact production. A testimonial from King & Fowler underlines AeroDNA’s real-world impact: it has simplified NADCAP compliance and enables balancing of customer demand while driving productivity.

We recognise that every SME has its own DNA and that a one-size-fits-all solution is not what an SME really needs. 5. Air coil

      Air coil

KUK manufactures air coils for a wide variety of applications, e.g. RFID antennas, control coils or transponder coils. To produce self-supporting coils, self-bonding wire is also used, which is superficially bonded (glued) together during or after winding. Air coils are usually made of enamelled copper wire or high-frequency litz wire. So-called self-bonding wire is used to manufacture self-supporting air coils. It has an outer layer whose melting point is lower than the melting point of the insulation. After winding the air core coil, the turns of the coil are "baked" (glued) together by heating, usually by increased current flow. Thanks to our in-house plant engineering, we can optimally align our production lines to your needs, even for air core coils.

    7. AirBench VertEx Cross-draught Booths

      AirBench VertEx Cross-draught Booths

VertEx cross-draught extraction systems are modular walls of extraction. Dust or fumes are drawn in through the perforated front panels into internal filters, selected to suit the application. Contaminants are removed from the airstream and filtered air is returned to the workspace. VertEx systems being modular can start from a single 1200×600 extracted face with no upper limit to the size of the cross-draught system. With our modular VertEx Booth system we can create walk-in dust and fume extraction booths large enough for any application. By specifying alternative filter sets VertEx systems can be configured as a sanding booth for wood and similar dusts, a grinding booth for metal work, or a fume extraction booth with carbon filtration.
