Babcock has announced a record intake of early-career talent for 2025, recruiting 500 apprentices and 250 graduates across its UK operations.
The Ohmio LIFT is a cutting-edge autonomous shuttle designed to revolutionize public transport. As Ohmio’s flagship model, the LIFT is built on a flexible and modular platform, making it adaptable to various deployment needs. Capable of carrying up to 20 passengers, the shuttle operates autonomously at Level 4+ autonomy, providing a seamless, driverless experience.

As BAE Systems announces that applications for its 2026 apprenticeship intake are open, the company has reached a record achievement with more than 6,800 young people in training across its UK operations. This figure, which includes approximately 5,100 apprentices and 1,700 graduates, underlines the company’s commitment to developing the next generation of British talent.
