Zacharias is a Technical Fellow at Spirit AeroSystems specialised in composite processing methods and processing optimisation. He holds a MSc in Advanced Materials from the University of Surrey and an Engineering Diploma in Materials Science & Engineering from the University of Ioannina, Greece. Zacharias joined Spirit AeroSystems Europe R&D team in 2012 and worked in various R&D, MR&D, New Work Capture and new product implementation projects. Most notably he have been the lead of the development and implementation of a high rate structural wing component that entered service in 2019 and is the inventor of two granted patents.
