Adaptix Ltd
About us
Adaptix NDT are taking this technology into markets where non-destructive testing (NDT) is dominated by ultrasonics for speed, cost and portability benefits. This is because the aspirational Computed Tomography 3D X-ray is too prohibitive because of high-cost (and running/maintenance cost), -weight, -power, and slow-speed.
AdaptixNDT are offering 3D internal visualisation at the point of diagnostics earlier in manufacture and through-life with a consistent digital output facilitating Digital Twins and NDE4.0.
Adaptix Limited is transforming radiology through the development of innovative 3D imaging technologies that are significantly better, safer, smaller, and more affordable than traditional radiology systems.
The technology has applications across a multitude of global markets that are currently limited to 2D X-ray imaging systems where cost, speed to diagnostic result, location, or dose concerns, mean CT is not optimal.
Adaptix’s central mission is to transform radiology by offering affordable low-dose 3D imaging at the point-of-care and allowing “3D-first” as the standard of care.
Adaptix are also transforming radiology in non-medical applications with fast-acquisition, deployable Digital Tomosynthesis 3D X-ray which is a disruptive technology within the non-destructive test (NDT) sector.

Products

Adaptix NDT3D K Series
The K Series products are designed for rapid 3D X-ray imaging of large scale parts over 500mm. Whether in situ or on/near the manufacturing line, these systems are capable of imaging metals; such as steel and titanium, composites and complex structures such as helicopter blades and aero parts, as well as complete battery arrays and assemblies. The K series is available in open or shielded configurations, enabling 3D imaging of large parts that CT cannot.

Adaptix NDT3D Z Series
The Z series products are self-shielded, desktop 3D imaging systems designed to image parts up to 500mm. Perfect for NDT of single component electronics, electronic component counting, composite coupons, batteries (cell and pouch), metal additive parts and weld samples. The Z series is configurable and comes with options of one or two detectors to allow flexibility and multi part type imaging within a single system.

Adaptix NDT3D Imaging Service
Adaptix NDT3D offer an imaging service for feasibility studies for those customers who would like to develop an in-house NDT function, utilizing the latest 3D imaging technology. Available for feasibility studies or batch processing, the imaging service allows you to verify your NDT requirements for new parts development and or R&D projects. Allowing you to gather the relevant data quickly and without the outlay of a capital purchase up front. Reach out to the team today to check availability.
