Ruby® laser software
What does every laser user need today and in the future? A laser software that allows daily work with the laser machine to run smoothly. A simple and quick workflow from the idea to the end product. A platform that guarantees profitable order processing. A networked, web-based and fully digital setup. A user interface that inspires. Ruby® has all of that. For easier, faster work with your laser. Digital through and through.

SAF 3D Printer
Selective Absorption Fusion (SAF) 3D printers use a counter-rotating roller to coat powder layers onto a print bed where high energy-absorption HAF fluid is selectively jetted to image the part layers. Industrial piezo-electric print heads jet single or multiple droplets of fluid according to the part requirement for fine detail or large areas. Using infrared energy radiated from an IR lamp, the imaged layers and underlying particles are fused across the span of the print-bed.

Safety Testers
AC Flash, DC Flash, Insulation Resistance, Earth Bond Leakage Current, Partial Discharge

Safety-Integrated Warehouse Solutions

Salt Spray Testing
All of our Salt Spray and Cabinet Based Corrosion Testing can be tailored to customers’ specific needs, with a wide range of services offered and typical exposure times ranging from 16 hours to over 5000 hours. Tests include Neutral Salt Spray, Acetic Acid Accelerated Salt Spray and Copper Acetic Acid Accelerated Salt Spray – typical specifications - AST B117, ISO 9227, ASTM B368. We also offer Fog/Dry Cyclic Salt Spray Tests and Humidity Testing.

Scanning Electronic Microscopy
At our Development and Testing (DAT) Department we specialise in developing, optimizing, and testing various joining solutions which often leads to introducing new ground-breaking solutions to challenging problems for the industry. At our laboratory, we are able to conduct testing and analysis of assemblies and components from a joining perspective with our Optical Microscopy (OM), Scanning Electron Microscopy (SEM) and Energy-Dispersive X-ray Spectroscopy (EDX) capabilities.

Screw locking RIPP LOCK®
Efficient and reliable: Use our RIPP LOCK® screw lock for lasting screw joints.

SEA Industry Conference 2026
If you work in the surface coating, metal finishing or heat treatment industries, the 2026 Surface Engineering Association Industry Conference is the event for you. Featuring presentations and table-top exhibits from some of the leading and best-respected names in the industry, the conference will be held on Thursday, 15th October 2026 at Chesford Grange, Chesford, CV8 2LD.

SEA membership information pack
The SEA represents the entire surface engineering and finishing sector, working with members who provide valuable services to this key sector. Because your SEA executive team works closely with parliament and is represented on key committees and working groups in the UK and EU, involved in the issues that affect our industry such as legislation, standards and codes of practice, we are well placed to ensure that our views and those of our members are heard at the right level. New or amended legislation on such matters as health and safety or environmental issues can have a major impact on our industry. By being ‘on the inside’ we are the first to know of the changes that will affect us all. Our close involvement with relevant bodies in the UK and EU enables us to keep our members informed. Find out more about membership today. If you are interested in any of the following topics, please contact us. 1. Membership 2. Information on a particular finish and/or referral to a member company 3. SEA CTAC Group (Formed to apply for authorisation for the continued use of chromium trioxide under UK REACH legislation) 4.
