Vortex Injection Valve
Alan Harper Composites is proud to introduce the Vortex Resin Injection Valve, an innovative and affordable solution designed to optimise your resin injection processes without compromising on performance. Developed in response to the high costs and operational challenges of traditional resin injection valves, the Vortex valve provides a smarter, more cost-effective way to manage resin in composites manufacturing. Product Highlights of the Vortex Resin Injection Valve: Compact, lightweight design for easy integration into B-closed mould systems Durable main seal that lasts 300-400 cycles, reducing maintenance costs Quick-release interlocking clip for easy attachment and detachment Efficient cleaning system requiring minimal cleaning solvent Ultra-flexible hoses that improve handling and reduce kinking Simple, cost-effective operation with a 4mm pneumatic signal connection Compatibility: Compatible with all autosprues on the market today. Note: Resin throughput is same (even though it is a smaller, compact & lighter valve). Does not require a separate costly 5-2 pneumatic spool tool valve (closes with internal spring & opens with a 4mm air signal). Opens with a 5-7 bar signal air pressure via the 4mm connector.

Morph Resin Runner
The morphing resin runner is a non invasive but integrated flow path built behind a reusable membrane moulding surface. Following this, in use a separate morph vacuum connection triggers infusion resin to rapidly flow along its path to aid resin distribution by momentarily forming a channel on the membrane surface. When the mould is filled and the morph runner vacuum removed the channel disappears and eliminates any chance of wasted resin remaining to cure as with traditional infusion spiral wrap. Additionally, morphing resin runners can be networked to provide multiple channels that radiate from a central channel (use a morph cross-section).

26 Shore A Platinum Cure Silicone
VMS26 from Alan Harper Composites is a 2-part addition cure 26 shore A silicone elastomer system. After mixing parts ‘A’ and ‘B’ in the correct proportions, then system will cure at ambient temperatures within 24 hours, but the rate of cure can be accelerated by heat. The cured rubber exhibits excellent physical and structural properties for Reusable Vacuum Membranes. The cured product has a 26 Shore A Hardness and is available in 40kg Kits.

TopGear SilCon SIX 1:1 Machine
Introducing our flagship silicone spray machine, the TopGear SilCon SIX 1:1 model. At Alan Harper Composites, innovation is what we do best. The TopGear silicone spray machine is no exception. Our model combines simplicity with a unique pump system that provides smooth, pulseless and void free output of all pourable silicones. Experience has shown that users need an economic and compact machine that can be used across the whole range of silicone meter mix industrial requirements. The company met this need by thinking outside the box through not following convention by building multi valve positive displacement pumps which are undoubtedly limited by their output reliability due to added complexity and pump valves closing speeds. Instead, the TopGear SIX model has no pump valves with infinitely variable smooth output characteristics. As silicone viscosities can be as high as 22000cps they present real concern over ratio mismatch due to inaccurate conventional reciprocating pump feed systems at the higher outputs. We’ve seen this design countless times in the new machines coming to market. However, our pioneering TopGear model is the only silicone spray machine to date that doesn’t possess this common cavitation risk through our unique designed short direct tank to pump feed. Spraying silicone- made simple & effective. Additionally, our silicone spray machine has transparent on board holding tanks, therefore giving instant visual access to low-levels of the silicone material.

Reflow™
Reflow™ is a patented texturised sheet to allow membrane building encapsulating 0.5 x 0.5 grooves at 1cm grid spacing. This provides in built resin flow ‘mesh’ which is reusable and not consumable. Peel ply may or may not be used in conjunction with this product.

MicroTop 1.5 Cartridge Handheld Silicone Spray Model
The popularity of reusable vacuum membranes grows and is now met with the outstanding features of the next generation spray equipment. MicroTop handheld silicone spray machine is your go-to choice when introducing todays sustainable Vacuum Membrane technology with a low introductory cost. With similar features to our flagship TopGear Silcon Six machine, it offers a more compact and affordable option for businesses looking for a lower-cost entry into our system. The MicroTop handheld silicone spray machine features a pneumatic Cartridge dispense/spray gun. For use with VMS26 Silicone Cartridges and VMS50 shore Silicone Cartridges. Comes complete with full instructions, shoulder strap and spray ancillaries.

MiniVac Station
Our integrated vacuum pump with catchpot. Alan Harper Composites MiniVac Station provides a compact vacuum source and clear vacuum chamber on a robust and stable base with convenient carry handle to complement our extensive range of fiRST ancillaries. The MiniVac Station vacuum pump and catchpot provides several features in one compact unit. The main 2 stage vacuum pump, 3 CFM (240/110 VAC) simply plugs into regular mains supply achieving an aerospace quality vacuum of minus 997mb. Mounted on a single base is the additional ClearVac which provides large 5.9 l capacity to degas mixes of polymer resins and doubles up as an in line catchpot with the two quick connect vacuum secure 10 mm pipe connections. The easy fit sealed lid provides a vacuum gauge readout and a precision vacuum release valve.

Premium grade Platinum Cure Silicone
VMS26-UC is our premium grade silicone from Alan Harper Composites. The material is a 2-part addition cure elastomer system which is an ultra clear silicone in appearance, giving far better visibility for liquid infusions. After mixing parts ‘A’ and ‘B’ in the correct proportions, the system will cure at ambient temperatures within 24 hours, but the rate of cure can be accelerated by heat. The cured rubber exhibits excellent physical and structural properties for Reusable Vacuum Membranes. The premium grade silicone product has a 26 Shore A Hardness and is available in 40kg Kits.
