CCP Gransden has a sophisticated aerospace-grade manufacturing facility that can deliver one of the UK’s widest selections of ADVANCED COMPOSITE MANUFACTURING processes in-house. A variety of notable primes use CCP Gransden for performance improvements across sectors such as Aerospace, Automotive, Defence, and Space.
With over 130 years in business, the company has evolved from the ship building and repair industry into the development and manufacture of advanced composites across high value manufacturing sectors.
CCP Gransden can manufacture ADVANCED COMPOSITES of varying sizes, shapes, complexities and quantities to AS:9100 standards. CCP Gransden have a range of other key accreditations; Cyber Essentials Plus, JOSCAR, and SC21 GOLD --> THE ONLY COMPOSITES MANUFACTURER IN THE UK TO HAVE ATTAINED THIS STANDARD.

Products
Advanced Thermoplastic Composite Brackets
CCP can provide you with a wide selection of bespoke thermoplastic composite brackets to meet your needs. With the capability of manufacturing thermoplastic composite brackets from Continuous Fibre reinforced Nylon, PEI, PPS and PEEK, we can enable our clients to benefit from the many advantages offered by these materials. Thanks to our highly automated processes and state of the art technology, we can manufacture several thousand advanced composite brackets on a daily basis.
Complex Advanced Thermoplastic Composite Overmoulding
CCP is one of a select number of companies globally who can perform single stage advanced thermoplastic composite overmoulding. With the ability to overmould advanced polymers (Nylon, PEI, PPS & PEEK) features directly onto continuous fibre reinforced thermoplastic composites, CCP can help support lightweighting of structures, parts count reduction and reduction in assembly time. With our ability to achieve overmoulding cycle times as of 60 seconds or less, CCP can support high volume manufacture.
High Pressure RTM
CCP are one of a select number of companies globally who can perform High Pressure RTM. Our state of the art advanced composite HPRTM capabilities enable us to inject thermosetting resin at 150bar and achieve cycle times of as little as 90 seconds whilst still achieving repeatable manufacture of high quality components.
Advanced Composite Filament Winding
CCP offer the greatest flexibility in filament winding with robotic filament winding. Tubes can be manufactured from carbon, glass, kevlar or other materials available on a bobbin. CCP can cater to bespoke one off components, through to high rate components.
Thermoforming of Advanced Thermoplastic Composites
CCP has the ability to thermoform continuous fibre reinforced thermoplastics into a wide variety of structural shapes to meet your needs. We can thermoform a large selection of composite thermoplastics that include, but are not limited to, continuous fibre reinforced Nylon, PEI, PPS and PEEK
High Volume Advanced Composites
CCP have invested in state of the art technology to support the varied needs of our clients. Our automated high volume advanced composite manufacturing cell is capable of producing several thousand advanced composite components on a daily basis.
