Indestructible are manufacturers and suppliers of high performance surface coatings for use within the aerospace, defence, rail and allied industries, particularly the aero engine, aero engineering and ancillary sectors. Our coatings are engineered to meet the very exacting standards in corrosion protection and chemical resistance required in these industry sectors.

We have authorised distributors in America, Europe and the Far East, and export to over 60 countries from our UK base.

Seventy-five per cent of the coatings manufactured are bespoke and engineered to meet specific requirements of the customer. Research and Development is a large part of the business.

Rockhard Range

EUROCOPTER AND OTHER FRENCH PRIMES ADOPT ROCKHARD FOR MAGNESIUM, ALUMINIUM AND STEEL Helicopter manufacturer Eurocopter, has just become the latest French company, and one of a number of others worldwide, to adopt Rockhard IP985 coatings from Indestructible Paint Ltd., of Birmingham. Originally developed as a low VOC, toluene, xylene and chromate free coating for magnesium components on the Joint Strike Fighter, IP985 was adopted by Eurocopter to protect magnesium helicopter gearboxes. The company also uses the extensive IP985 product range on other technical components. Eurocopter, based in Marseilles, now joins other companies, namely members of the French owned Safran Group, comprising Turbomeca, Messier-Bugatti, Hispano-Suiza, Snecma, and Messier-Dowty in adopting the Rockhard IP985 range. The Safran list of approved IP985 materials now includes approximately 20 products, including a clear sealer, a non-chromate primer, aluminium, gloss white, black and a variety of colours. Other examples of their applications include use on Turbomeca engine parts, and undercarriage and braking systems made by Messier-Bugatti.

PL470- OMAT KITS

A special Molybdenum Disulphide based material, PL470 achieves an improved dry film lubricant on the fan blade root and dovetail. - Each kit is designed to be used with a specific engine type and contains various cleaning and applicator pads, fan disc key slot masking clips and other items - This rapid 14 stage operation, facilitated by the contents of the kit, entails thorough cleaning to remove contamination and debris before the application of PL470 lubricant to the fan blade roots. - Because the engine removal is no longer required, this process can take place ‘on-wing’ between flights resulting in a very rapid turnaround - a key function that siginificantly reduces operating costs. RW Solvent Free Epoxy Primer Finish PRODUCT CODE: RW120SF 2K Single Coat Finish. PRODUCT DESCRIPTION. Air dry 2 pack Solvent free full epoxy Low VOC Primer finish for steel, aluminium and Galvanised substrates. Specially developed for use within the Rail and Associated Industry on vehicles and civils and for the heavy engineering industry. Available as a Matt, Semi-Gloss and Full Gloss finish, in Black, and a range of BS and RAL colours. PERFORMANCE. Applied as a single coat or 2 coat application and can be overcoated with itself and other Indestructible Paint finishes, epoxy and polyurethanes. RW120SF is part of a family of coatings developed by Indestructible Paint. This family of coatings is manufactured from a high grade 2-part epoxy system initially procured for use in aerospace applications. Indestructible subsequently take this resin binder system to manufacture a range of low VOC coatings intended for Rail, Industrial, Transport and Architectural applications. These coatings are ideally suited for use on chassis parts, fluid or air receivers, control enclosures, support structures, etc. The composition of the epoxy and its chemical bonding allow use on a range of substrates including ferrous and non-ferrous metallics and a wide range of composites. The cured coating is a tough chemically resilient finish that has been tested against a variety of corporate and national standards.
