Linwave Technology, a division of the Alaris Group, excels in creating custom microwave integrated modules that operate up to 100GHz. Our high-performance RF solutions cater to various sectors such as Defence, Aerospace, Marine, Space, Security and Satcom, with a focus on applications in harsh environments. We are based in Lincoln in the UK, have been operating for over 20 years, and have a workforce of over 40 people. Our main business is the design and manufacture of active RF modules and sub-systems intended for use in harsh environments.
Alaris Linwave possess a full range of design, qualification, manufacture and testing capability, to deliver a wide range of high value, high quality RF solutions. The company excels in managing complex customised projects through its robust New Product Introduction (NPI) process with gated reviews for a wide range of applications.

Harsh Environment Design Proving
Alaris Linwave designs high-reliability products for extreme environments — from submarines and satellites to medical and aerospace systems. We conduct in-house and certified external testing to MIL-STD standards, including vibration, thermal cycling, burn-in, and hermetic sealing, ensuring long service life and mission-critical performance.
End to End New Product Initiative Support

Automated Test & Programming
We deliver robust, scalable automated test systems for RF and microwave products. Our ATE software integrates with industry-standard equipment, reducing test time and errors while boosting quality, yield analysis, and production efficiency.
Ultra High Frequency Expertise
Operating beyond 77GHz, Linwave supports W-band applications including satellite comms, automotive radar, and missile guidance — with in-house test and assembly up to 100GHz.
Obsolescence Re-engineering and management
Linwave supports long-life products with proactive obsolescence monitoring, re-engineering services, and die-level retrofit solutions—ensuring continuity even when original components become unavailable
