About us
The MTI is the result of a unique collaboration led by North Warwickshire and South Leicestershire College, and its partners, HORIBA MIRA, Coventry University, the University of Leicester, and Loughborough University.
MTI is helping to create specialist skills in some of the new disruptive technology areas including electrification and driverless cars, ensuring a sustainable supply of future technical specialists and engineers.
The MTI is a purpose-built centre designed to deliver automotive training, offering accredited programmes from Level 2 to Level 8 (Doctorate level) as well as a range of bespoke training courses and CPD opportunities. Developing talented apprentices right through to chartered engineers, the MTI provides access to a unique skills escalator, enabling progress to higher and degree level apprenticeships and beyond.

Our central location on the world-renowned MIRA Technology Park near Nuneaton is easily accessible from Birmingham, Leicester and Coventry. We offer cutting-edge technology in all our spaces and uniquely offer access to onsite workshops designed to help you deliver innovative, engaging and memorable sessions in a live industry environment.
