Precision Cleaning with Rotation
Turbex's long term partner MAFAC are a global market and technology leader in aqueous parts cleaning. A family-owned business for over 50 years, they’ve led the development of industrial technology for both surface and component cleanliness. They offer a wide range of compact single chamber machines; all are designed to meet a wide range of cleaning requirements and customer needs. MAFAC’s patented, distinctive technology allows the basket and spray systems to revolve in either the opposite or same direction while spray-flooding or spray-cleaning the wash chamber. This system ensures repeatable cleaning outcomes on bulk materials or single components with intricate geometries. Benefits include: • Single-chamber machines enable cleaning, rinsing and drying in one unit. • Compact footprint uses minimal space on factory floor • Great for components with areas that can’t be reached by spray alone. • Reduces secondary process times with a quick draining operation. • Comes as standard with a coalescing oil separator. • Ultrasonic action available for improved cleaning performance. • Choose from a variety of options, including vacuum drying. Turbex are the sole supplier for MAFAC systems in the UK and Ireland.

Solvent Cleaning Machines
Turbex's tried and tested expert partner in wet cleaning, Karl Roll is renowned for its reliable solvent and aqueous plants, which encompass hydrocarbon cleaning agents, modified alcohol, perchloroethylene, and detergent-based cleaning methods. For 70 years, Karl Roll has designed their parts cleaning systems to fit seamlessly into the different stages of your manufacturing processes. In their words, they see cleaning as an ‘enhancement stage’ that improves component quality. Solvent cleaning is ideal when large quantities of neat oils and grease need removing. From degreasing surfaces to removing contaminants and particles, solvent cleaning systems are always up to the job. Under a whole machine vacuum, processes such as flooding, vapour degreasing and vacuum drying take place in the single process chamber. Basket sizes are tailored to requirements. Benefits include: - Exceptional cleaning and drying results. - Great for ultra-fine cleaning, even bulk loads with thin-walled high surface area components. - Heat recirculation minimises running costs. - Fast cycle times in as little as 5 minutes per load. - Self-cleaning separates and discharges all oils and water entering the system. - The solvent remains clean and operational for years, meaning minimal downtime for bath exchanges. Turbex are the sole supplier for Karl Roll systems in the UK and Ireland.

Ultrasonic Cleaning Systems
Elma is a global leader in the field of ultrasonic and steam cleaning technology. They serve a wide range of industries and markets with an extensive product line of ultrasonic, modular and custom cleaning equipment for in-process and final cleaning applications. Elma’s ultrasonic manual or automated multi-stage systems fulfill strict cleanliness thresholds and fit seamlessly into manufacturing processes. They can be customised to the exact needs of the customer to fit the available floor space and can be added to production lines already in place or within a clean room. Features: - Removes contaminants such as process residues, oil, polishing compounds, particulate, wax, and grease. - Variety of sizes (60-170 litre tanks). - Switchable frequencies for intensive and precision cleaning operations. - Automated systems are PLC-controlled and can handle several baskets simultaneously. Options include: - Agitation - Fine filtration - Closed-loop deionised water system - Machine enclosure with or without conveyors - Polished tanks with rounded corners (Precision line only) Turbex is the sole supplier for Elma systems in the UK and Ireland.

Vacuum Drying Ovens
Over the last 40 years, Meier Prozesstechnik has forged a proven reputation for quality. Leaders in the design and manufacture of impregnation and drying plants, Meier guarantees its customers high quality, high performance, and long-lasting vacuum drying systems. Hunting for fast and gentle drying at low temperatures? Vacuum Drying machines are the solution. By sealing parts in a chamber and subjecting them to negative pressure, we can reduce boiling points, meaning water evaporates at lower temperatures. These systems reach every pore and chamber, guaranteeing rapid, homogenous drying in record time. These systems are built to your specifications and requirements. They can also be retrofitted to existing production lines or used as stand-alone machines. Turbex are the sole supplier for Meier vacuum dryers in the UK and Ireland.

Automated Surface Treatment
Galvatek (A John Cockerill Company) is a leader in purpose-built surface treatment plants. These plants are designed and delivered to industries requiring precise and fault-free automation in their manufacturing processes. Surface treatment lines are heavily used in the aerospace industry, primarily for maintenance, repair and overhaul (MRO), but also in the defence and energy sectors too. The lineup includes: Automated anodising lines Also known as electrochemical surface treatment, anodising enhances the natural oxide layer of an aluminium surface when it comes into contact with oxygen and can be used on aluminium components. Multiple processes can easily run simultaneously on these tailor-made lines since automation takes care of line optimisation. Automated chemical cleaning lines Chemical cleaning lines remove contaminants such as carbon, scale, paint, coatings, oils and grease and are designed for the aerospace industry to clean aircraft engine components, before non-destructive testing (NDT) inspections. Automated chemical etching lines Chemical etching is the subtractive machining process that’s used to chemically corrode components to produce extra features like pockets and channels. Etching can be used on a wide range of metal components. Turbex are the sole supplier for Galvatek/John Cockerill surface treatment systems in the UK and Ireland.
