Leybold UK shortlisted for Diversity and Inclusion Award 2022

Leybold UK, who are based in Chessington, Surrey, have made the final shortlist for the Lab Awards in the category of Diversity and Inclusion. The Diversity and Inclusion Award recognises outstanding commitment to the enhancement of equality, diversity and inclusion within the workforce, and will shine a light on sustainability, innovation and recognition of the laboratory Industry and the people who work within.

Announcement of the winner on 2 November 2022

The winner of the award will be announced at the awards ceremony next Wednesday 2nd November at 3pm in the Insights & Innovations Theatre at Lab Innovations 2022, at Birmingham NEC. The event will coincide with the Advanced Engineering Show 2022 where Leybold UK will be exhibiting on stand Q130.

Vacuum systems are used in a wide range of processes

Leybold designs and manufactures vacuum pumps, components and systems that create the necessary production conditions for the industrial manufacture of semiconductors, data carriers, displays, coated architectural glass and solar cells. Vacuum systems are used among in the refinement of steel and the processing and packaging of food. Vacuum is also indispensable for the operation of mass spectrometers and electron microscopes as well as in almost all areas of modern research and development.
