Midlands PR agency expands language capabilities
Stone Junction, the Staffordshire technical PR agency, has hired a Swedish account executive in the second quarter of 2023 to boost the number of languages spoken and available for clients to draw on.
Beatrice Ulups, 24, joins the team to increase the overall language capacity to twelve languages between 35 people.
As the first Swedish speaker to join Stone Junction, she will strengthen the agency’s capacity to reach key Scandinavian industries and media sectors, such as engineering, automotive manufacturing, technology, telecoms and cleantech.
Ulups adds Swedish to a list of languages spoken at Stone Junction that already includes German, Spanish, French, Urdu and Punjabi, to name a few. This expansion will directly benefit clients such as Sandvik Coromant and WEG that operate in northern Europe and Scandinavia.
“The youthful, development-focused culture at Stone Junction attracted me straight away,” said Ulups. “I saw this as an opportunity to learn about the technical side of the public relations industry and work on some fascinating STEM clients in an environment that encourages proactivity and self-development.”
“Diverse language capabilities are crucial to what we do and the international services we offer,” remarked Laura England, client services director at Stone Junction. “Our expertise lies in maximising the skills that our recruits bring to the table while developing their other areas of expertise. This is what enables our tailored and flexible output.”
It isn’t just foreign languages that Stone Junction offers. Banks of long-standing journalist relationships and deep understanding of international markets have translated into successful PR campaigns across the globe.
