Alustep® 500 – Fibreglass sandwich panel

Alustep® 500 is a lightweight sandwich panel featuring an aluminium honeycomb core bonded to fibreglass skins impregnated with epoxy resin. It is specifically designed for the reinforcement and lightweighting of natural stone, including marble, granite, engineered stone and mosaics.

By significantly reducing the weight and thickness of stone slabs while maintaining high mechanical performance, Alustep® 500 helps simplify handling, transportation and installation, resulting in lower material, logistics and installation costs.

The aluminium honeycomb core provides excellent stiffness, dimensional stability and durability, making Alustep® 500 an ideal solution for architectural, interior design and transportation applications.

Available in different thicknesses and customizable through machining operations to meet specific project requirements.
