Alustep® FN – Fire-certified Nomex® honeycomb sandwich panel

Alustep® FN is a lightweight sandwich panel featuring a Nomex® honeycomb core bonded to fibreglass skins impregnated with phenolic resin. It combines outstanding stiffness, excellent weight reduction and certified fire performance, making it an ideal solution for demanding transportation and marine applications.

The combination of Nomex® honeycomb and phenolic fibreglass skins provides high mechanical performance, dimensional stability and excellent resistance to corrosion and moisture. The panel can be easily machined and customized to meet specific project requirements.

A certified version is available for applications requiring compliance with international reaction to fire standards.
