SCU Motorsport are developing an education-based race series to allow students to develop and practice engineering skills and build ‘real’ experience to improve their skills for working in the motorsport engineering sector.
The core focus of the programme is the creation of a pioneering 3D Learning Environment using Augmented Reality, Virtual Reality and Mixed Reality technologies. This cutting-edge platform will revolutionize the way students learn and assess their skills and feature a 3D Virtual Motorsport Garage.
The wider programme will see the creation of a new qualification tailored to meet the demands of the motorsport industry, launching a race series exclusively for education and training establishments that will allow students to undertake design and develop components and undertake research, development, and testing. It will feature a bespoke single-seater race car. The virtual learning and assessment environment will integrate seamlessly with these initiatives, further enhancing the educational experience for students.
