The Dustomat Hydro is a compact wet filter unit suitable for multi and single station extraction of metallic dusts & sparks produced during applications including welding, polishing, & grinding. For explosive materials an ATEX compliant version is available.
The Hydro series utilised water separation technology; the first stage filter possessing a separation efficiency of 98.7% subsequently remedying sparks and dusts effectively harmless. Contaminants extracted are effectively bound in water which can be then discharged via a drain cock located at the bottom on the unit. The extracted air is then fed through a multi-stage filter system which can be configured according to the user’s individual needs and intended application.
For particularly hazardous dusts , a Hepa H 14 filter is recommended ( possessing a separation efficiency of >99.995%, allowing clean air to be exhausted back into the atmosphere.
